Effective 1/27/2012 we can no longer support Email Forwarders that are setup to forward to a Hotmail address.

Hotmail recently blocked 2 of our servers due to Email Forwarders pointing to a Hotmail address. The reason being is because the spam filter on our servers does not work on an Email Forwarder so even spam messages are sent to the Hotmail servers. Hotmail claims there is a lot of spam originating from our servers even though there is no abuse originating from them. We are not listed on any RBL (Real-time Block Lists) and our Email Reputation at senderbase.org is Good for all server IPs.

In order to prevent Hotmail from blocking even more of our servers we can longer support Email Forwarders that point to a Hotmail address. We have removed all Email Forwarders that were pointing to Hotmail addresses on all of our servers. It was requirement from hotmail in order to get the current blocks removed. You can still use our email services, just setup the email address as a mailbox within cPanel > Email Accounts. You can then check the mailbox using POP using an Email program on your computer or via webmail. You can even setup your Hotmail account to download messages from the mailbox via POP (check your Hotmail options).
