Frontpage Extensions have been discontinued due to them being phased out my Microsoft years ago. We recently installed new security tool (and a new more advanced firewall) to combat against the increase in hacking attempts and abusive users on our servers.
The security tools flagged the FP extensions as a security risk so we needed to disable them.
=========================
Microsoft Frontpage Extensions were EOL in 2006 and there is no support for bugs or security issues. For this reason, it should be considered a security risk to continue using them.
=========================
Unfortunately we can no longer provide FP extensions on our servers since it is too much of a security risk.
You'll still be able to use Frontpage to create your site and publish, you just need to change the publishing type to FTP within your Frontpage publishing settings (go to File > Publish Site). Make sure for FTP Directory you enter public_html.
Also, now may be a good time to consider using WordPress or Joomla to build your site. Both can be installed from within your cPanel control panel under the Installatron icon. Here are some demos.
If you are new to open source software I'd suggest using WordPress since it's much easier to learn and use. Joomla is good too but a bit more advanced. We use Joomla to run our main site http://interactiveonline.com. We use WordPress to run 200+ blogs we have for SEO purposes.
There are WordPress Video Tutorials as well as Joomla tutorials in our Knowledge Base.
