How to configure currency in CubeCart Print

  • 0

Quick answer

CubeCart: a display currency and a payment gateway's settlement currency are different choices. Review rates, rounding and accepted currencies before enabling one.

Applies to

For a customer who operates their own CubeCart store. The retained video uses an older release. Current releases, required extensions and menus can differ. Hosting compatibility, licenses, merchant services and store-development support require their own confirmation; none is automatically included merely because cPanel is available.

Steps

  1. Confirm the installed CubeCart version, authorized store administrator and exact store/language scope. Preserve a recovery copy and use a protected test store for changes affecting transactions.
  2. Open Currencies, preserve the base-currency setting and add or edit only the intended supported currency. Review its code, decimal formatting, rate source and enabled status.
  3. Save only the intended change and verify the actual storefront and relevant business records before releasing it to customers.

Check the result

Compare product, cart, shipping and tax totals and a sandbox payment in the intended currency.

Troubleshooting and support

For a mismatched charge, inspect the store base currency, conversion and gateway configuration. Do not assume a currency symbol proves the amount is correct.

Contact support from the owning account with the domain, product/version, exact error, time/time zone and redacted evidence. Exclude credentials, session URLs, payment details and private customer records. Confirm any separate application-support scope.
