Quick answer
PrestaShop: use a maintained supported release and verify hosting requirements before installing a store. The preserved Fantastico/older installer workflow is historical.
Applies to
For a customer who operates their own PrestaShop store. The retained video uses an older release. Current releases, required extensions and menus can differ. Hosting compatibility, licenses, merchant services and store-development support require their own confirmation; none is automatically included merely because cPanel is available.
Steps
- Confirm the installed PrestaShop version, authorized store administrator and exact store/language scope. Preserve a recovery copy and use a protected test store for changes affecting transactions.
- Check the current vendor requirements against the exact hosting service. Create an isolated destination and dedicated database/user, then follow the current official installation procedure without overwriting an existing website.
- Save only the intended change and verify the actual storefront and relevant business records before releasing it to customers.
Check the result
Verify administrator access, storefront HTTPS, scheduled tasks, mail and a protected sandbox checkout before any launch. Protect or remove installation material through the vendor's supported process.
Troubleshooting and support
For an unsupported PHP/database requirement or missing installer, ask support about compatibility. Do not weaken the server or install an obsolete release to reproduce the old screen.
Contact support from the owning account with the domain, product/version, exact error, time/time zone and redacted evidence. Exclude credentials, session URLs, payment details and private customer records. Confirm any separate application-support scope.

Use the current written guidance above and its references when labels or capabilities differ; the old interface does not establish current hosting availability.
