How to use webmail from within cPanel Print

  • 4

Quick answer

Open Email Accounts > Check Email for the exact mailbox to launch webmail. The preserved video shows Horde; the current available webmail application may be Roundcube.

Applies to

For an email-enabled Interactive Online cPanel service. If Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or another provider handles the domain's mail, manage that service there. Confirm the domain and complete mailbox address first.

Steps

  1. Open Email > Email Accounts and locate the full mailbox address.
  2. Choose Check Email. Open the webmail application offered by the service. The older More > Access Webmail controls may no longer be present.
  3. Check the intended mailbox and send a controlled test. Sign out when finished, especially on a shared computer.

Check the result

Confirm the correct Inbox appears and a test message can be sent and received. This separates mailbox access from a device-specific setup problem.

Troubleshooting and support

If webmail works but a mail app fails, compare that app's secure settings and saved credentials. Do not assume the cPanel login is the mailbox password.

If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
