Quick answer
Create an address forwarder under Email > Forwarders to send mail to another destination. A forwarder does not provide a mailbox login or prove that the destination accepts the message.
Applies to
For an email-enabled Interactive Online cPanel service. If Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or another provider handles the domain's mail, manage that service there. Confirm the domain and complete mailbox address first.
Steps
- Open Email > Forwarders and choose Add Forwarder. Enter the source name and select the correct domain.
- Select Forward to Email Address and enter the complete destination. Check spelling and ownership; avoid forwarding a destination back to the source.
- Save with Add Forwarder. If a mailbox with the same source address exists, check whether you also need its locally stored copy.
Check the result
Send a test from an unrelated address you control. Confirm receipt at the destination and inspect any failure notice.
Troubleshooting and support
If delivery fails, distinguish a forwarder error from the receiving provider's spam or authentication policy. Do not create a domain-wide forwarder to troubleshoot one address.
If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
