Quick answer
A no-shipping message means the current cart and destination did not produce an available method. Find which rule excludes that combination before changing rates or enabling delivery to unintended locations.
Before you start
Record a sanitized sample address, the product IDs and quantities, cart value, and the exact message. Compare the same case on staging. Keep any currently working delivery configuration available for rollback.
Steps
- Enter a complete destination, including postal code and state where required. Check that the store allows shipping to that region and that the cart contains a physical product.
- Find the first shipping zone matching that address. Inspect its methods, their enabled status, required coupon, minimum spend, and product-class conditions.
- For a carrier-calculated method, check product weight and dimensions, origin details, supported services, and the integration's account status. Keep credentials out of screenshots and support messages.
- Compare a working address and product against the failing case. Change one confirmed cause on staging, then repeat the original cart and a nearby boundary case.
Verify the result
The formerly failing case should show the intended rate while excluded addresses remain excluded. Save the test conditions so future plugin updates can be checked against the same examples.
Troubleshooting and recovery
Do not solve the message by adding free shipping to every destination. If logs show an external carrier error, send the sanitized error, timestamp, cart dimensions, and service name to support.
