Quick answer
Delete only the intended domain-forwarding rule to stop that mapping. Removing a forwarder does not remove the separate source mailbox or domain registration.
Applies to
For an authorized mailbox user. Interactive Online manages settings only for mail hosted on the selected service; mail hosted elsewhere uses that provider's settings. The preserved lesson shows an earlier interface.
Steps
- Open the intended application or account and confirm its complete mailbox address and provider.
- Open Email > Forwarders, locate the exact domain rule and preserve its source/destination details. Select Delete, then confirm Delete Domain Forwarder for that rule.
Check the result
Confirm the rule is absent and test expected local delivery. Check whether separate address-level forwarders still apply.
Troubleshooting and support
For a missing tool or limit error, confirm the selected service and enabled features. For a delivery problem, check the actual mail provider and routing before changing unrelated DNS or passwords.
Contact support from the owning account with the domain, product/version, exact error, time/time zone and redacted evidence. Exclude credentials, session URLs, payment details and private customer records. Confirm any separate application-support scope.
