Quick answer
Delete the selected autoresponder to stop its automatic replies. Removing the responder leaves the separate mailbox and its stored mail in place.
Applies to
For an email-enabled Interactive Online cPanel service. If Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or another provider handles the domain's mail, manage that service there. Confirm the domain and complete mailbox address first.
Steps
- Open Email > Autoresponders and find the exact address and domain. Record the message and schedule if you may need them again.
- Select Delete beside that responder. Review the confirmation and choose Delete Autoresponder only for that rule.
- Return to the list and confirm the responder is gone. Do not delete the mailbox to turn off an out-of-office reply.
Check the result
Send a controlled message from a new test address and confirm no autoresponder reply is sent. Separately check normal mailbox delivery.
Troubleshooting and support
If replies continue, check other responders, device rules and the actual mail provider. An already queued reply may still arrive.
If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
