How to manage pages in WordPress Print

  • 4

Quick answer

Create or edit WordPress pages from Pages, save drafts while working, and preview before publishing. Publishing changes makes them visible according to the page's visibility settings.

Applies to

For a WordPress site you are authorized to edit. Your WordPress role, installed theme, plugins and editor determine the available controls. Hosting access does not automatically establish WordPress administrator access. The video shows an older version.

Steps

  1. Open Pages > All Pages and select the intended page, or choose Add New Page for a distinct new page.
  2. Enter the title/content and review the editor, page template, parent, featured media and visibility as applicable. Keep the work as a draft while reviewing.
  3. Preview the public result at relevant widths and verify links/forms. Publish or update only when ready. Check navigation placement separately.

Check the result

Open the public URL in a fresh session and confirm the intended content and access. A published page is not automatically added to every menu.

Troubleshooting and support

If a builder or template controls the layout, use that system's supported editor. Review links and recovery before trashing a page.

If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
