Quick answer
A hosting subscription does not automatically include a custom cPanel MCP connector. Use the connection actually supported by your tool and account, such as the CMS editor, an authorized CMS integration, local SSH/SFTP, or Nova. Check with support before granting a third-party connector access.
Vendor connections and a custom hosting connector differ
Interactive Online does not promise a general-purpose custom website-editing service merely because you have hosting. cPanel documents a WebPros-account MCP connection in Meridian, while CMS and page-builder integrations expose different operations. Verify your account, actual tool list, permissions, and supported client before selecting a route.

Check whether an integration is offered
Describe the tool, website platform, and exact task. Ask whether a supported connector exists for that service and which actions it permits. A package named cPanel MCP on the internet is not evidence that it is operated or supported by Interactive Online.
Before granting access
- Confirm who operates the connector, how you sign in, which sites/data it can access, and how to revoke access.
- Read the actual action and credential scopes. A broad cPanel API token does not become narrowly scoped because the chat prompt asks it to be careful.
- Check costs, maintenance responsibility, recovery, and data handling before connecting a live website.
- Use the local coding/SSH workflow when it fits the task and no suitable reviewed connector is available.
Contact support
Include the application name, domain, task, and connector documentation URL. Keep the primary hosting password, private SSH key, provider token, and customer records out of the message.
