How to create an autoresponder for a specific time period in cPanel Print

  • 4

Quick answer

Use an autoresponder's Custom start and stop controls for a scheduled reply, checking the interface's time context before saving.

Applies to

For an authorized mailbox user. Interactive Online manages settings only for mail hosted on the selected service; mail hosted elsewhere uses that provider's settings. The preserved lesson shows an earlier interface.

Steps

  1. Open the intended application or account and confirm its complete mailbox address and provider.
  2. Open Email > Autoresponders and edit the intended rule. Select Custom beside Start and Stop, set the required dates/times, and save with Create/Modify or the current equivalent.

Check the result

Read the saved schedule back and test during its active interval. The reply interval can also suppress repeated tests from the same sender.

Troubleshooting and support

For a missing tool or limit error, confirm the selected service and enabled features. For a delivery problem, check the actual mail provider and routing before changing unrelated DNS or passwords.

Contact support from the owning account with the domain, product/version, exact error, time/time zone and redacted evidence. Exclude credentials, session URLs, payment details and private customer records. Confirm any separate application-support scope.
