How to save a draft message in Roundcube Print

  • 4

Quick answer

Save an unfinished Roundcube message to Drafts so you can return to it later. A saved draft has not been sent.

Applies to

For the correct mailbox in Roundcube webmail on an email-enabled Interactive Online service. Open it through cPanel Email Accounts > Check Email or the trusted webmail link. Skin, version and provider settings can change labels.

Steps

  1. Choose Compose and enter the intended message details.
  2. Use Save or Save draft and wait for confirmation.
  3. Open Drafts, reopen the saved message and continue editing. Review recipients and attachments before eventually sending.

Check the result

Reopen the draft and confirm its latest text and attachments are present. Do not rely only on an unsaved browser tab.

Troubleshooting and support

If the draft is missing, confirm the mailbox and configured Drafts folder, available storage and any connection error.

If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
