  • 4

Quick answer

Use Contacts, called Address Book in older Roundcube, to manage saved recipients. Check the actual address even when a familiar display name appears.

Applies to

For the correct mailbox in Roundcube webmail on an email-enabled Interactive Online service. Open it through cPanel Email Accounts > Check Email or the trusted webmail link. Skin, version and provider settings can change labels.

Steps

  1. Open Contacts and select the intended address book.
  2. Create or edit a contact, enter the correct email address and save. Use supported import/export controls for a larger transfer and keep a recovery copy.
  3. Select a contact and compose a controlled test. Review To, Cc and Bcc before sending to a group.

Check the result

Reopen the saved contact and confirm the complete address is correct. Test one recipient before using a group.

Troubleshooting and support

If a contact is missing, check the selected address book and search. Export required contacts before a deletion or bulk import.

If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
