Checking your server status and information in WHM Print

  • 4

Quick answer

WHM status pages show service, storage and system observations. Green service indicators or one load value do not prove that a particular website or mailbox works.

Applies to

For an authorized reseller or administrator whose Interactive Online service includes the relevant WHM permission. Ordinary website hosting uses cPanel and does not imply WHM or root access. Work only with accounts you own or are explicitly authorized to administer. The video is an older interface reference.

Steps

  1. Open the permitted Server Status tools, such as Service Status and Server Information. Record the observation time.
  2. Check the reported service state, disk capacity and any error associated with the actual customer symptom.
  3. Compare the website or mail behavior directly and provide support with the affected account, timing and redacted results.

Check the result

Repeat the affected customer task and distinguish its result from the broader status display. No universal load-to-core threshold proves an outage.

Troubleshooting and support

Contact support for failed services or resource pressure. Do not restart shared services to investigate one customer account.

If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
