Quick answer
Suspension and unsuspension change service access for a hosting account. They are separate from deletion and may interrupt website, mail and other account functions.
Applies to
For an authorized reseller or administrator whose Interactive Online service includes the relevant WHM permission. Ordinary website hosting uses cPanel and does not imply WHM or root access. Work only with accounts you own or are explicitly authorized to administer. The video is an older interface reference.
Steps
- Confirm the full account/domain, reason and authorization. Record its current status and any existing suspension reason.
- Open Account Functions > Manage Account Suspension, select the exact account and use the intended Suspend or Unsuspend action.
- Read the result and retain a useful reason internally. Resolve the underlying service issue instead of repeatedly toggling the status.
Check the result
Check the saved status and the relevant website/mail behavior. Verify that only the intended account was affected.
Troubleshooting and support
If an account remains restricted after unsuspension, inspect the actual limit or service error with support. A status toggle is not proof that the cause was resolved.
If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
