Quick answer
A WHM package defines permitted account resources and features. Create packages within your reseller allocation and verify the displayed units before setting limits.
Applies to
For an authorized reseller or administrator whose Interactive Online service includes the relevant WHM permission. Ordinary website hosting uses cPanel and does not imply WHM or root access. Work only with accounts you own or are explicitly authorized to administer. The video is an older interface reference.
Steps
- Open Packages > Add a Package and use an allowed name. Check any reseller prefix shown by the interface.
- Set intended disk, bandwidth, domain, database and email allowances within the service limits. Confirm whether each value is in MB or another displayed unit.
- Choose the appropriate feature list and supported options, then save the package. Avoid unrestricted allowances without a service-specific reason.
Check the result
Reopen the package and confirm the saved limits and feature list before assigning it to an account.
Troubleshooting and support
If a value is rejected, check reseller permissions and available allocation. A package definition is not an update to customer billing or a guarantee of unlimited physical resources.
If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
