Changing an account's WHM package changes its permitted resource/feature configuration. Check current usage and custom overrides before a downgrade.

For an authorized reseller or administrator whose Interactive Online service includes the relevant WHM permission. Ordinary website hosting uses cPanel and does not imply WHM or root access. Work only with accounts you own or are explicitly authorized to administer. The video is an older interface reference.
Steps
- Record the current package, effective limits and usage of the exact account.
- Open Upgrade/Downgrade an Account, select that account and choose an allowed target package. Review differences and reseller capacity.
- Apply the authorized change and inspect any override/conflict result before proceeding.
Check the result
Check the saved package and effective limits, then test the account's required tools. A package label alone does not prove every override changed.
Troubleshooting and support
If a downgrade would put usage above a limit, agree on the resource plan first. WHM package changes do not themselves establish a billing-price change.
If the problem continues, contact support from the account that owns the service. Include the domain, exact error, time and time zone, tool name, and a redacted screenshot. Keep passwords, private keys, cookies and private message content out of the ticket.
