Quick answer
Use a store page for information such as an About or FAQ page, then add a menu link where visitors can find it. Creating the page does not automatically place it in the main navigation.
Applies to
For the owner or authorized staff of the selected Shopify store, with the permissions needed for this task. Shopify hosts the store separately from a cPanel hosting account. Features and workflows depend on the current Shopify plan, theme and apps.
Before you begin
Confirm the correct store, approved copy, and page-editing access. Record the current content and URL before changing an existing page.
What to do
- Open Online Store > Pages and add a page, or select the existing page you need to update.
- Enter a descriptive title and clear content. Use headings and descriptive links rather than pasting a styled document with unnecessary formatting.
- Review visibility, search-listing details, and the assigned theme template. Keep the current URL unless there is a specific reason to change it.
- Save and preview the page. To make it discoverable, add its page resource to the appropriate menu in Content > Menus.
Check the result
Open the page as a visitor and follow the new menu link on desktop and phone. Test its links and confirm the visible text is the approved version.
If the problem continues
If content appears on several pages unexpectedly, check whether it belongs to a shared theme template or section. Ask support before deleting shared blocks. Save a content copy before undoing your edit.
